Irrigation Installation Foreman
This is not a remote position.
Duties include:
Installs landscape irrigation by hand and machine using shovels, trenchers, and/or vibratory plow. Operates trencher, vibratory plow, mini-skid, and boring unit. Installs underground and above ground low-voltage wire for lighting and irrigation. Specializes in two-wire irrigation installation with grounding protection and decoder valves. Reads irrigation plans and interprets plan in order to correctly install irrigation, drainage, and landscape lighting. Has the knowledge to make needed adjustments to irrigation plans during installation based on unexpected variances in installation site conditions or current construction progress. Understands future and current landscape conditions and layouts as well as plant material specifics in order to install and adjust proper irrigation which will provide the correct precipitation pattern and precipitation rates. Makes directional bores and pulls irrigation pipe or conduit through bore. Performs irrigation plumbing and oversees irrigation plumber on the irrigation crew. Quality control irrigation, drainage, and landscape lighting installation while installation in progress and after completion of installation. Directs all members of the installation crew including laborers, plumbers, and drivers. Capable of troubleshooting irrigation and landscape lighting installation issues. Capable of troubleshooting irrigation and landscape lighting issues from a maintenance level included repairing physical and electronic damage, diagnosing and then repairing unknown issues, adjusting watering times based on seasonal weather demands.
Requirements:
5 years minimum experience in installation of landscape irrigation systems, running Case and Ditch Witch trenchers, vibra plows, and mini skids. Ability to trouble shoot conventional and 2 wire irrigation systems.
